Peace Becomes Me

A problem is an entity,
just like me.
A turmoil of energy,
a vortex of turbulence
with peace at it's center,
which if I enter,
the calm becomes me.

But pretty soon it's boring,
so I jump back in
to the heady wind
and let the force tear
me to pieces.
So I  can gather again
and force myself in
to the peace that becomes me.

And this my friend explains
reincarnation.

  1. Interesting idea. Haven't heard of it that way. This "A turmoil of energy,
a vortex of turbulence" pretty much describes my life. Thanks for sharing.

  2. This is pretty much how I felt today. Isn't it funny how we long for peace and serenity and then when we have it, we're bored? Human beings are funny creatures! :) Loved this poem!

  3. This is a great poem and so true. We don't want a crisis to happen yet we get a charge out of managing it. I love the ending...best explanation I have heard yet.

  5. I don't have any grand thoughts here...I think you have enough grand thoughts in the poem itself...just wanted to say I liked this very much...the last line is perfect...unexpected and yet...yes.
